Philip - as an old retired math teacher is that 5 times 5, or is it 5 times 5 factorial? Just sayin'..... The two answers are grossly different!!!

re: Just a test

5x5 used to mean strength & clarity of the message. The military used to live online, as radio online...

5x5 (or 5 by 5) meant good, clear and strong signal that was understood.

re: Just a test

Like Pete said..Harvey 5 by 5....i guess i was born to monitor a radio frequency or watch programs running on a screen. Wait i remember doing honest work when i was 15,stacking haybales under the barn roof for 75 cents an hour to buy a army surplus rifle to go deer hunting.

Sorry Harvey, only Math majors know the significance of the "!" after a whole number.

re: Just a test

For those of us who just about manage to count to ten it means factorial.
eg, 5! means 1+2+3+4+5 = 15

Or at least it did when I took my GCE many years ago.
Edited to show a + sign rather than an X.

Right the first time.

5! = 5x4x3x2x1 = 120
