I "navigated" to the Ross Dependency page

and there was the 1957 3d stamp, featuring the HMS Erebus.
I knew of the loss of the Erebus during the Franklin expedition, while attempting to navigate the NW Passage, but had no idea it had previously been (along with the Terror) part of the Ross expedition...
This is yet another reason I enjoy collecting stamps!
