Dear All,
This is an open letter to all the old timers who may remember Perry. I received the following from his granddaughter:

"Hello Dan, this is Perry's granddaughter, Lisa. He's not able to respond, but I told him about your email and he says thank you. He's comfortable, not in pain, and weak. Hope all is well with you."

He is fading fast now, so those who might wish to send him good thoughts and prayers I thought you'd like to know. Should you wish to drop him a line, his email address is:
klperry1941@gmail.com

Thinking of you and wishing you all well,
Dan

This is very sad. Perry is a great guy.

re: Ken Perry-Long time SOR secretary

I'm sad to report that I just received word that Ken passed on yesterday, alert and peaceful to the end, with his family around him.

Rest easy my friend-you will be missed. Say howdie to Jerry Abern, and bring him up to date on how well his club is doing.

Dan C.

Dan, thanks for letting us know. He was a real nice guy. He loved stamps and model railroading. Both hobbies lost someone special.

A loss will be felt by many of us here....

he was a generous person and a good stamp-collecting friend.
