Guinness says (the book not the beer)
the record for total stents is a whopping 34!!
This is a record that in NO WAY do we want you to attempt, Charlie.
Those 34 stents sounds like they laid a whole new circulatory system.
34 stents would make him the true "Six Million Dollar Man".
Get well soon Charlie.

Charlie:
Rest up and get well. As a 55-year old man with a rare congenital heart defect (I am the oldest living blue baby with a Mustard Correction for Transposition of the Great Vessels of the Heart), rest, recover, carry-on.
Get well!

Take care Charlie...naps are good
" ....the record for total stents is a whopping 34!!...."
I was getting worried that there may not be much room left.
" .... This is a record that in NO WAY do we want you

I don't know, the alternative seems so depressing.
" .... This last cardiac event was a tad more serious
(Troponin level rose quite a bit at first. )
and kind of caught me by surprise. I now have
stent #8 resting snugly in the arteries somewhere
around my heart. They are looking like a Walmart
Parking lot of the Blue Light Tuesdays.
I will be working on bills, invoices and love
letters this week in between naps. Most of my
previous hospital adventures were severe Angina
sessions, but this one was more serious.
It may take me a few days to get all payments
into the mail.
But as the Bard of Avon cleverly wrote;
"All's well that ends well. ....."
I wonder what the record is for stents ?
Graham Nash (Crosby, Stills and Nash.)
has eight also.
