I always liked how the water looked on that stamp;
almost a 'glass-like' look.
I've been a full time seller for 6 years now, and I've never lost the thrill of a fossick. I have a tub that weighs around 20kgs (40+ lbs) that I've sifted a dozen times and I find something every time I do.
Just for info this is a Tunisian stamp and not Algerian one.
I was sifting that tub again last night and lo and behold, I found a second copy of this stamp. Saudi Arabia 1970 SGO1054, CV £400
i do spend a lot of time going over and over old yellowed glassines of stamps looking for something new...today it paid off with this Algeria C23 (2017 scott $6.00) I guess it will encourage the old prospector to keep going.
