the page you show is for the scott #'S 5L69-76 for east china the "1949" issues. scott lists the 1947.2.7 as 5l21-31 and steiner has those a few pages earlier as "7th Anniversary of Shantung Post Office"
hope that helps
Bob
Thank you Bob - I was worried no one would respond!
I am really struggling with aligning Steiner with SG for this period of China - I suppose it would make it easier if I used a Scott catalogue
SG tends to have more listings than Scott on early issues and more than once I had to create a cross-reference between SG and Scott and redo my Steiner pages to add varieties.
I am struggling with these with Steam Train & Postal Runner issues within my Steiner pages. I do not have a Scott catalogue but from my collection and my SG Catalogue I know these are broken down into "1949" issues and "1949.2.7" issues. However in the Steiner "China PRC Provinces" pages I can only locate the one example of these stamps on a page which I believe is the "1949" issue.
The images are shown for representative purposes to illustrate the major difference in the type i.e. the date inscription
SG Cat No's -
EC333 to EC343 (1949/2/7 issues)
EC364 to EC371 (1949 issues)and I believe these are the ones in the Steiner page shown
