This might help you;
Use a magnifying glass and check the size of the microprinted "FOREVER" text
on the lower right side of the bell's wooden 'yoke'.
Also check the width of the lip of the bell with a mm ruler/gauge.
Thank you, Musicman. The information and, particularily the graphics, give me all the information that I need.
As of last year, I believe that this stamp design is still available at the Stamp Fulfillment Center.
In trying to identify the various versions of subject stamp, the perforation size, width of the bell and date of the stamp are easily determined in figuring out what Scott number they are listed as. What is not so easy to determine is the micro printing. This printing can be either large, medium or small. Where is this printing found on the stamp and how do you know whether it is large, medium or small? Also, what is the difference between solid tagging and motled taging? My United States Libery album requires the micro printing size and whether it is solid tagging or mottled taging in order to identify the stamp.
