Just sharing something I found interesting.

Found this block of 4 while sorting and happened to notice the anomaly at the cat in the upper left stamp.
I thought it could be a post production marking at first. But the block is MNH so has not been through the postal system. Wanted to check the tagging to see if the tagging was over the black splotch. Unfortunately the tagging on this issue is a bar down the center and does not extend to cover the cat area. When I hold the stamp at an angle to get a "glare" or "sheen" off the stamp, the "glare"/"sheen" over the black splotch seems the same as the surrounding area. The black of the splotch looks the same color/shade as the rest of the dark black on the stamp like the stove.
I'm calling it an Oddity/freak.
Would like to know if anyone else has seen this kind of anomaly on this issue.
