If I see lots of early Philippines, Puerto Rico, Cuba, etc. I tend to bid if the price is fair. Usually the stamps are offered without numbers since the stamps really are difficult to identify. I'm usually happy if I end up with 10% that I don't have. I got really lucky with a lot of 10 early US Philippines stamps I bought from Talmadge lately - 7 out of the 10 were stamps I didn't have. I'm very happy with that and just felt like passing it on. Has anyone else had that kind of luck with that type of lot? I usually do nowhere near that well!!
