Fiscals aren't shown in most major catalogues. This was issued from 1881-1901, and comes in three different watermarks and perf combinations. Value from $1 to $55 for the scarce one

I find the Aussie states very complicated with all the different watermarks and other minor differences. Good luck identifying them all!

Jan-Simon, you are SO right. When a stamp type was used several times over many years with different watermarks and different perfs (and some being rouletted and I can't tell the difference between perfs and roulettes) and the perfs according to my perf gage don't always match with the Scott cat, it took quite a while to get them all sorted out.

I don't know what info is in Scott, but this is why SG is so helpful. These footnotes make life much easier

I've been searching for this NSW 2d Stamp Duty stamp in my Scott 2007 cat and just can't find it. In fact I can't find any NSW Stamp Duty stamps which leads me to believe that I'm just looking in the wrong place. I've also been searching on Stampworld.com (which is a wonderful resource BTW) and can't find any Stamp Duty stamps there either, which I find very strange.
Can anyone help?
