Way back when, before the SCOTT cat. numbers changed, this used to to be SC #495c. I cannot find it listed in the 2019 MH numbers. Can anyone help to I.D. this booklet pane. Thanks in advance. OLDPAUL.Image Not Found

Hello Michael,
Thank you. I am never asked if it is O.K. to change catalog numbers. OLDPAUL.

re: GREAT BRITAIN QEII BOOKLET PANE.

When Scott went to the "MH" prefix for Machins it messed things up a bit for sure. They were copying how Gibbons does it. Why Scott uses the "MH" for the regionals is beyond me, and I think unnecessary. Once you get used to it, it does help with identifying Machins from Great Britain, however.

Then Scott added the complete booklets, and that really messed up easily finding the booklet panes.

For Scott and booklet panes with multiple-valued stamps, check the catalog listing for the highest face-value stamp in the pane. Your should find the pane listed there. Note, I used the operative word, "should". We are, after all, talking about Scott.
