Hi all,

I gotta give me two cents on something...

Start: JohnnyRockets personal opinion... NOW!

-------------------------------------------------

GB stamps are just cool!

I'm reading the latest weekly addition of LINN's and what do I see?

GB has released stamps honoring classic video games! I think this is very interesting, because whether we want to admit it or not, video games had a massive impact on culture and there are some of us here who were probably in our teens or twenties when VG's first came out.

I just applaud GB's ability to continuously release what I think are interesting stamps and to stay current, relevant and "attention grabbing" to possible new collectors. This is not at all to say that all the other countries out there don't have good stamps as well, but GB just consistently seems to be eye catching to me.

-------------------------------------------------

End: JohnnyRockets personal opinion

Your mileage may vary! Winking

Thanks,

JR

Glad you like them, I won't post my feelings about them as I was taught if you can't say anything nice then say nothing at all.

LOL!

I feel that way about some of the US stamps as well!

I understand.

Kind of like, "really you chose that topic?!!".

I agree with "tooler", most new stamps do nothing for me at all. But, we are all different, and that's a good thing. I have sort of gotten into Harry Potter stamps, Marvel stamps, Dr. Who stamps and a few others and I'm positive a lot of you would find those dumb as well! Mostly though it's the older stuff that appeals to me. I find new stamps too glossy, if that makes sense!
