That's my first thought, but there's so little detail known about these overprints that I hesitate to say it's a forgery

Don't know if anyone here knows anything about the Guyana overprints/surcharges from the 1980's? I have a Scott 461/SG 922 with the usual 220 on 1c Pitcher Plant, but, it also has 1982 overprinted in a font I have never seen on any Guyana 1982 stamps. I cannot find it in Scott, SG, Stampworld or Colnect. If anyone can help it would be very much appreciated.
