If anyone thinks that belonging to a stamp club does not have its benefits...heres one for you, one of our members is friendly with a post office employee in his tiny hamlet. One day when he stopped in she showed him a roll of the florida panther with the die cuts omitted. she had two rolls of them and agreed to sell them to ur friend. Being a good guy he shared pairs of the cats 4141a (catalog value $500) with the members. The others he is wisely slowly selling off so as not to hurt the catlog value.Image Not Found

Good for your friend and his PO girlfriend . Was this what they called friends with benefits? :-)

However these valuations make me ponder over the concept of "value". Especially after my property assessment this year raised the value of a 52 year old structure by 100%!!

Yes, two appeals filed already, but they tell me no matter what I have or do not have, it is all based on speculation pricing related to a LNG pipeline in Northwest BC. But I do not give up easy.

She probably should have sent the imperfs back...but obviously did not...that was in 2007.
