I'm trying to find Reunion in Michel. In which catalog do they put it?
Technically Reunion is a French (overseas) Department (like Hawaii for the US). But early stamps are found under French Colonies.

I was checking my Yvert catalog only listet on quadrille paper perf. 14x13½
Manfred
Reunion is listed in Michel volume 4 Part 2 East Africa.
They don't mention quadrille paper with the 15 c. but perforation 14x13½
I checked on Hipstamp and there seem to be quadrille and non quad paper, and also 13, and 13.5 vertical perf.

Thanks. I found it now.
Thank you for the reply's It maybe a FORGERY
Hello
I don't think the stamp is a forgerie.
My method of detecting forgeries is:
1. 16 teeth on the sides = genuine
17 teeth on the sides = forging. Specific is the appearance of an exact tooth
in the corner of the stamp
2. Verify two areas in the stamp drawing
2a. Hand on the tail of the flag well shaped fingers
2b. The fruit on the tray is round and not flattened.
There are other drawing elements but I don't think they are necessary for the evaluation of your stamp
Thank you "gerom". Very interesting and valuable information.

Quadrilles are often faint. I checked through my own 15c blues, and found some were obvious, most were apparent if I looked for them, and some I could not detect at all, including my copy of the Reunion stamp.
In the picture posted, I think I see faint traces of the quadrille around the edges, especially in the lower right corner.
Thank you for all the information. Love the pictures nice.
Keep on Stamping
Richard
