Stamporama has always stated that images of items being offered for sale must be of that item. Representative images are not permitted.
With that said, it was discovered that this position was never included in the rules for the approval books. The omission has been corrected. Here is the new rule, which is now in effect, for approval books:
"B5. All items must include an image of the actual item being offered for sale. Representative images are not permitted."
