thanks for the information, Tim.
there's a couple of things I'd like to either emphasize or add.
First, Tim is right to point out Roy's largesse; Roy makes a free SOR possible. Without Roy, we'd need to charge fees for membership or sales or..... We don't, and, in large part, that is because we don't need to because Roy provides the web site.
Second, Tim is also right that Roy has great stuff on his site; i've bought many things there; it's easy to navigate with a pretty good search engine, and great service (and always nice stamps on his mailings). Not a bad idea to give our benefactor an opportunity to show his wares.
I should also point out that Roy and Tim put a lot of time into the site behind the scenes. Their hard work makes it possible (other people, like Michael and Antonio, are more visible, and equally essential for our easy flow).

Hi Everyone,
I learnt today that Roy, our benefactor (see top right hand corner), is upgrading his server. This will mean that somewhere over the next couple of months we will be taking Stamporama down for a weekend to move everything from our current server to a new one. Roy pointed out that it is five years since we last did this. My how time flies when you are having fun.
I want to take this moment to thank Roy for his continued patronage of Stamporama. I for one very much appreciate it. Please click on Roy's add in the top right hand corner and go and browse his site. I've found some great material there in the past.
When I have more info on the timing of the move I'll let you all know.
Regards ... Tim.
