Measured from perf hole to perf hole. Version B. My English version of Michels says,
"Normally the stamps are perf 13 (horizontal), with the distance from the left perforation hole to the right perforation hole, measuring from 19.5 to 20.5 mm!"
Thank you mbo1142.I suspected that is the correct response but with "google translate" for
"zahnlochgrund betragt" it's impossible to understand.
Yes, the distance is to be measured between the deepest parts of the perforation holes. Anything else would probably not be well defined anyway.
I need help in translating cat. Michel.
German stamps Mi # 31-50 (Scott # 29-51) normally have 13 perforated holes on the horizontal.
The catalog contains variants with 12 or 14 holes. The identification of the 4 categories (B, C, D and CE) is done by measuring the width of the stamp.
How is the measurement done? Version A or B? or none is correct?
