I don't know if this is unique to my Scott International album..i picked up a set of airmails the 1949 C3 to c9 at the club last night. When i wanted to mount them..the first spaces for 1949 airmails are the overprinted ones c10-16. i suppose i could mount my stamps over the spaces for the overprinted ones...but where is the page for the C3-c9, i searched all through the Trieste and Yugo pages...perhaps my album has a page missing ?

re: Yugoslavia-Trieste 1949 airmails

I do not have the International pages for those. However, the Specialized page for Yugoslavia - Trieste has spaces for both sets.

With Scott Internationals Parts 1 and 2, it can be a challenge/headache. There is a footnote in Scott following #C3-C9 where it says that some of the stamps from the set have inscriptions from other countries (Italy, Croatia and Slovakia). It's worth a look to see if perhaps those stamps were put in the other countries, and then later moved in the catalog to Yugoslavia - Trieste, and similarly the International page was updated later on as well. It might be a dead end, but if you have an older version of Part 2 of the International it's worth a try.

Michael, after your post i resumed the search...i found the 1949 airmails on a page in the midst of Trieste occupation stamps issued the Allied Military Government of the United States and Great Britain. All Set !
