I bought this cover as a fake. It's on period laid paper. The Georgetown cancel is incomplete but appears genuine. This is a cover front only, backed in the distant past with a stiffer paper. It is addressed to J. F. Bee. There was a J. F. Bee living in Georgetown, but other than verifying a name, I know nothing about him.
The more closely I look at the "Cottonreel" applied to the lower left corner the more questions I have. It lacks the postmaster's initials. I can find a genuine example that does as well. I am not expert enough on my own to reach a firm decision.I presume this is the fake I bought it as, but I would like a more expert opinion than my own.
