Mr G's, would the name of the agency that printed the CORRESPONDENCIA URGENTE stamp label etiquette item not be a clue as to its country of origin?
I am not familiar enough with the agencies involved to make it out from your photo.
Cheers,

Edited to add: Spain issued several similar stamps. One from 1905, another in the 1920s, but yours has the agency name ...
First one is a special delivery stamp. Spain Scott #E14 (year 1934)

Thank you Roy...what threw me off was tat it was in a batch of Portugal stamps.
The Esparanto is a group of Cinderella topicals that number in the many 100s of varieties from all over the world.
The serve a todos (serves everyone) would indicate Portuguese origin ?
SForgCa...many thanks.. I did realize that ESPARANTO was some sort of UNIVERSAL Language. What interesting, is that the stamp is cancelled. It may have been affixed to a letter with a valid stamp for postage.
" .... La Esparanto estas grupo de Cindrulino, kiu temas pri tiu nombro en la multaj centoj da varia?oj el la tuta mondo.
La servado de ?iuj (servas ?iujn) indikus portugalan originon? ...."
Any help would be appreciated ????
