What would you like to know?
The year of emission..45,46? and catalogue no.(Michel if possible or others)
The stamps are from West Saxony and the issue date is September 28th. 1945. Below is scan of the relevant page from my 1994/95 Michel.
Scott # 14N3,14N4, 14N5, 14N7. They catalogue at minimum value mint but higher used.
Hope this helps.
Thank you sheepshanks ,I identified the watermark type Wz.1Y but i don't see in page of Michel the perforation L10 3/4 type.
I have a stamp with L11 1/2 and I scan him with the L10 3/4 for see the difference.
These stamps with a perf. of 10 3/4 were Official trial-perforations. 6Pf., Michel 121X.
From October 12, 1945 and were only done with stamps that have the watermark X. those with watermark Y and Perforated 10 3/4 are of private nature.
Thank you opa.My stamps are private emission (Y watermark)and they don't have a Michel no.
I have with X watermark (Michel 120X-123X ?, I think)They worth something? I buy the eight stamps for 4 Euro.
If the perfs. are 10 3/4 they have a CV of €22 each.
It's a good new for me "opa".You are the great in german stamps. But a friend write me that is possible (if the colour is "dunkelrotviolett")the stamp L11 1/2 to be Mi#117Axb (Mulgen post)and the cote is 2000 Euro?I post two with L10 3/4 with the L11 1/2 for see the differents shades.
What you think?
George
