I recently purchased some Liberian stamps to add to my Africa collection.

However, I'm having trouble identifying some colour variants and over prints of the Liberian 1920 Local Motifs.

The following image shows the full, used collection. Below that is a mixture of colour variations and "O.S" overprints which I can't find any information on. Image Not Found

Does anyone have any information regarding these colour variations and overprints?

Additionally, within the purchase were the rather dull ones below, of which I can again, find no information on.

If anybody knows anything about these stamps it would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,
Rachel

Check carefully if they match these

1921 Ovpt

They should also have watermarks - 2 types depending where printed
There are a lot of inverted & missing overprints but no real major color variations
BUT a lot of fakes and forged stamps and fake overprints on forged stamps
Check the perf size

Where can I find the correct perforation size to compare against? I use stampworld.com as my guide and the 1894 stamps are not referenced on there at all. Neither are the 1921 overprints D'Oh
