If you do not have a catalog, Stamp World can help at least pinning down year or series. It is well illustrated with more images than most any printed catalog. You can search by various aspect like years, denomination. This can be helpful to pin down a specific period so you can find it in a catalog. It has its own numbering system and provides some values but never paid attention to the values.
