can you help me with this boxed cancel on this 8c pale dull orange 1865 Crown CC wmked Hong Kong stamp - where is it from - and any other details as to the purpose or a link would be appreciated.
it sort of looks southern European - Italy, Spain or Portugese??

On another stamp forum, I received my answer I looked at the link to the Spinks sale and there are a number of ANK cancels shown, so I have a Finland ANK arrival mark and looks like the numbers refer to 23rd of November. Interestingly all the items with this marking in the Spinks sale https://stampauctionnetwork.com/f/f1022.cfm are all in black I wonder if mine in blue has any dating possibilites - the stamp was issued 1865 and was out of commom use by the 1880's?
So much for my southern European idea from the fonts etc - about as far as possible from the Med and still be in Europe.... LOL
