I know there are some 2-colour and 1-colour versions of these, but I can't find the variation on the bottom of this scan.

Any ideas?

Hi Dave,

There are no color variations on the 10pf. Posthorn, only lighter and darker shades of the same color. It does have a misprint variant where the background color is completely missing.

The 5 and 10pf. were printed in rotary. The 20, 30 and 50pf. were printed in plate and rotary. This can be seen by the numerals, they are slightly different, as are the 2 stars and the bottom cord of the horn. The 50pf. has 2 color variations and a watermark variation.

The numerals on the plate prints are bit bulkier than those of the rotary, the stars and cords a bit thicker.
