Possibly a coil stamp?
In my experience there was quite a bit of private perforation going on with Czech stamps.
The newspaper stamps were issued imperf. However, some companies privately perforated the stamps for convenience to save time on using scissors to cut out the stamps from the sheets for use.
This stamp is listed in Scott as #P2 (imperf) and they usually have generous margins. But this one is perforated horizontally, and cuts into the design, which makes me think this was one of those "private perforations" that are occasionally noted in Scott (but with no explanation why that was done). It is also a lighter shade of ultra compared to the imperfs I have.
Thoughts?
Thanks, Dave.
