Hi to all,

I could not resist these.

It is all Rob's fault, everytime he shows a BCOF it encourages me to build up a collection.

The single copy of the Lyre bird is interesting, as much of the inscription is missing or very faint. I have added a larger scan of the single as well

Regards

Horamakhet

Hi Horamakhet

Very nice BCOF blocks, the weak imprint on the 1/- lyrebird is a variety but I haven't seen one like this before.

Hi Rob

Nice to know that I have found something different.

I will keep looking out for unusual BCOF overprints.

Horamakhet, nice score. I enjoyed learning about the Australian contribution to the occupation of Japan after Rob posted about the BCOF stamps a couple of years ago. Fascinating period in history. Thanks for sharing.
