Thanks, Charlie. It looks like the Crosby Group in Buffalo bought Western Block Co. at some point in time and still uses the Western Block name.

The Western Block Company was founded in Lockport, New York, in 1890. They produced wooden, wrought iron and steel tackle blocks as well as snatch blocks and sheaves. I found a 1960s reference to the company, but am not sure it still exists.
