I wonder what will happen if you bought this MS and put the stamps on a letter to someone.
Would the postal workers in Algeria figure out this is not legitimate postage? Would be worth the try.
The "stamp" below looks like the real thing but is actually part of the salvage of the MS issued that year and has no value. I mailed 2 letter to myself with it and both arrived no problem. Just match the hatch.
Good idea, I have asked my Switzerland to buy it for me, if he did, I will proceed
thanks

I too, enjoy collecting "illegal mail" covers, and have made some (self-addressed) for myself.
You might be taking a risk, but I don't know if you could be extradited for any perceived crime!

"extradited" and "crime" seem to be very strong words for what we do.
Real crime happens within the governments and affects millions of people and wildlife.
Cougar:
I doubt very much that the RCMP and the Canada Post Security and Investigation Services are going to come to your home and arrest you. As for being "extradited", you did this in B.C. Where would you be extradited to? Saskatchewan?
I saw a dealer at ORAPEX, here in Ottawa, a few years ago, with a stack of letters mailed to the tax collection clerk of some town in the United States. They were all franked with cinderellas! Ha!

You've noticed that also ?
A friend to me sent me the butterflies mini-sheet scan that he got on a Switzerland merchant website.
I confirm this mini-sheet is false and has never been issued by Algerian post office ministry.
I draw the attention of butterflies stamps collectors on this matter !!!!
