Problem solved, thanks to Mel Bohannon!
Dave.
Dave, I was wondering if VistaPrint would print postcards. They have produced good quality product at low cost for me.
Thanks Jules.
I have been using my own pile of thank-you cards this year (which are fairly cost-effective when purchased from the "Dollar Store"). But after Christmas, my wife asked where all our cards went, so I decided I should switch gears to preserve my marriage...hahaha...
I also thought it would be a nice gesture (and supportive of the original Holocaust Stamps Project) to use their unique cards to thank donors (including yourself, one of our most prolific and generous supporters).
So while this adds an unfunded financial cost to the project, I am happy to cover the expense personally - which I hope to partially recoup through the sale of some of my excess stamps in a January/February blitz (whenever I find time to get to it).
Also, a couple SOR members have offered to provide stamp donations that could be counted towards our goal but then sold to raise money specifically to cover such costs. My colleague Craig ("holocauststamps") will be back from holidays Monday, and I'm hoping to put a plan together then.
Again, many thanks for your support, Dave.
From Dave ("lemaven")
I am trying to buy some greeting cards from the original Holocaust Stamps Project, that were created from their stamp-art collages.
These will be sent as a thank you to all 2018 donors to our Canadian "reboot" project, postmarked January 27th (International Holocaust Remembrance Day).
Unfortunately, they can only accept U.S. cash or a credit card payment through "venmo" payable to "@FriendsofFRCS" - which will not accept a payment from Canada.
So, to get the cards sent to us, I need to find someone who could make the payment of $30 on our behalf (which I will immediately refund to you through my personal PayPal account).
If you can help, please send an email or SOR PM to "holocauststamps" or "lemaven" (do not reply on this thread).
Many thanks, Dave ("lemaven").
