Can anyone tell me about this Spanish stamp? I cannot find it in Scott. This is not a photo of my stamp. My stamp is 0.75 rather than 0.01. Value? Any stories about it?

All I can tell you is that this is one of the MANY meter stamps that Spain has generated. You won't find it in Scott's. I have, maybe, a 100 of them - all different. Image Not Found

These are postage labels, often referred to as "Frama Labels". They are not listed in the various general stamp catalogs.

Calling them meter stamps is a misnomer, though definitely an understandable one. These are better described as Frama stamps or ATM stamps.

Michel lists these. This particular one is ATM-stamp #59 from 2001. As far as I know, these are not Frama labels, but Epelsa labels (different brand)

Correction, it is #72, I mixed up the pesetas version and the Euro version.

Michel lists 172 different ATM stamps, each could be printed with any value between 1 and 99,999 pesetas or 0.01 to 99.99 euros.

Wow, 172 different ATM stamps, .... (times) ....
99,999 values equals 17,999,18 labels mounted
in 229 Minkus Supreme sized albums, each
holding about 75,000 labels. Enough to drive
the completion aficionado crazy.
