#554d is perf 11 x 10 (top or bottom), your stamp is perf 10x10, #583. The perfs are the same for the sides and the top/bottom. Image below shows the perfs from the right side of your pair digitally compared to the top/bottom perfs. As you can see, they are the same so it cannot be a #554d.
