Hi Horamakhet
I have never seen anything like it and it isn't mentioned in the ACSC and being MUH makes it quite appealing. It does seem to be the stamp mentioned in the SG as 418a, and listed to be valued at £1500 ($2746). The SG valuation is not very reliable though the real value still could be high.
I have sent the image to a friend who is an expert on these type of errors and am waiting for a call from him, I'll let you know the result (rarity status and market value).
Rob
Hi Rob
Thanks for that.
It was in the collection that I bought recently.
I have not even started to look properly at the other stamps, so I don't know what may be in the collection.

Horamakhet
Hi Horamakhet
The stamp is scarce and the market value is about $500, not bad. The SG 418a I found out refers to the signals fully omitted on both sides, the stamp you have is part of a sequence of the signals disappearing, still a sought after error for those who collect varieties.
The collector who has the signals fully omitted would no doubt want to have the one you have to add to the series, that is what I do when collecting varieties.
Rob
Forgot to mention, I was also told that the stamp is a new discovery and not listed in any Australian catalogue.
That was a very nice find.
Rob
Hi Rob and all.
Now that is exciting.
It just goes to show, there are new discoveries just waiting to be found.
I have a long job ahead of me, looking carefully at each stamp.
I am glad that I was able to share it with everyone here.
Regards
Franz
Congratulations Franz, I hope you find more significant examples in that lot..
Charlie.
Finding varieties of this calibre from an unlikely batch of stamps expecting to see minor varieties is rare in itself. By the sound of things I believe there are surprises yet to come.
When I mentioned that the market value is $500, what I am saying is that if you want to at any time actually intend to sell that stamp, selling it for $500 would be reasonable, just don't sell it on eBay.
Rob
Hi Rob and all others
Thanks for all the kind remarks and helpful info.
Rob, I wish, that I had the expertise you have with stamps, but, it is like anything, it comes with years of experience, but all is appreciated.
Totally agree with you re Ebay
Ebay is the one place is that I would never sell significant items.
shall gradually sift through the collection, not expecting to find a lot, so anything that turns up will be a bonus.
I will be glad when the colour editions of the ACSC come onto the market.
Till then I have my trusty 10x loupe, and my microscope

Hi Horamakhet
I’ve been studying Australian stamps since 1978 (I was 22), you learn a lot in that period of time, but never enough as I always find something new or someone presents previously unknown errors and varieties, such as your stamp with 70% of the antennae signals missing.
When it comes to significant stamps always shop around with registered dealers and dealer specialists. I would like to see the stamps in a larger detail to see what type of varieties if any, if possible would you be able to send copies of the images you are displaying to me on my PM.
I was going to get a microscope in a few weeks but neglected to remind myself I need a humidifying cabinet for the albums.
Geoff Kellow said to me at the last meeting of the CCC that the new colour version of the KGVI catalogue will be available in January 2019, it’s delay is due to other work commitments.
Hi Rob
I will try and make larger images of the stamps and send them via PM
Not sure how to do via PM, but will work it out.

Hi Rob and all
I believe the stamp on the extreme right is the white weather, radio waves omitted.
SG418a
What does everyone else think
It was in the recent collection I bought.
I only just noticed it now. It is mint unhinged.
