Sry for this but doing this the only way I know from an iPhone but here are hopefully two pictures of the stamp I’m talking about, the stamp itself is unmounted mint.
According to my Scott catalog this would be watermark 67. Scott says that the stars in this watermark vary in size and shape. That would seem to match the situation with your stamp.
This is the same as mine except on one stamp, it’s from the last one to come up for auction
I’m sry don’t know which star watermark 67 is in Scott’s catalogue , only really work from Gibbons. The small star can differ slightly but truncated star tends to be more defined
Hi
I’m needing information on a particular stamp it sg60 2d pale blue chalon . P13 wmk truncated star .
The problem I have is that it contains both the small star and truncated star watermark on the same stamp, the dandy roller is thought to have been repaired using a small star part, my stamp however has a margin and is unmounted a sthe margin contains the mount. The margin also shows both stars so could it account for a full row of small stars. I would love to put pictures up but unfortunately I’m doing this from an iPhone and it’s proving hard. Any information would be fantast thx gordon
