Equally puzzling is how Mlle Francoise ever managed to read the brief message addressed to her! Any handwriting decipherers out there? (Sorry, Brando, I don't mean to hijack your post - I hope you get some proper responses to the 2 cent stamp mystery. The left edge looks like a careless scissor cut to me, but that does not explain the lack of perforation at the foot of the stamp. Just my, ahem, 2 cents worth. )
I believe the writing is in French and the girl is his cousin and he is thanking her for something, but this is way beyond me!
Lars
I had this up in another thread and now it has arrived in the mail,I have no clue what it is,I'll send it in tomorrow and let them figure it out but wanted to see if any of you guys had a clue.
It's has angled perf's like the International Vending Machine Coil Scott 320's I found pictures of,the 3 Cent picture I put up is the only known 3 Cent International Vending Machine Coil, there is no known 2 Cent variety(fingers crossed because that's my conclusion if it's not fake which I know it could be.)
