It looks more like 'Nánny' or 'Nãnny'. There is no dot to indicate a letter i. The a appears to have either an acute accent or tilde. If it is a tilde it narrows the search down to Iberian Peninsular or their colonies.

Your answer came just 1/2 hour before a local online auction closed for these three charcoal drawings, and allowed me to grab them.
Now to see if I can find Swiss auction house that thinks they are valuable enough include in an auction!
