As a workaround, fill in the field "Automatically reject offers below _____" with a price of 90% of the BIN price. You won't be bothered with 95% of offers.

Hi Bechinite,
If you are frustrated with eBay making money for their shareholders, have you considered becoming an eBay shareholder yourself? That way instead of being aggravated every time they do something that makes them more profitable, you could smile.
If you had invested $1000 (US) in eBay stock in 1998; the stock would now be worth $31,000+ (US). Between the growth of your investment, getting an occasional dividend check, and avoiding the frustrations; it seems like something that might be worth looking in to.

I completed several sales two weeks ago. When listing I am always careful to check I do NOT want 'Make Offer' to be in the listing. Within two days I started getting ridiculous offers. Turns out my listings did have this showing. had to go in and delete this and then it stayed off.
Such helpful people; they really want you to sell your stuff.
Good ideas folkies but all solutions still means more work for the seller and more data usage on your Internet provision.
Of course feebay probably has shares in all the internet providers.
Snick1946:- I always click do not make offer but their automatic relist automatically adds the make offer!!!
Roy:- They add the make offer, not just on BIN (they charge us 50 pence/item for BIN) but also on auctions of £2.00 and over!!!
51Studbaker:- If we all knew how share prices were going to increase we would ALL be millionaires and we would be going to all the Philatelic International Shows to buy the rarest and best stamps not trying to sell on feebay for a buck or two!!
We use ebay.co.uk. I've just gone onto ebay.com.
Their selling form is different to ebay.co.uk in many respects.
It is obvious now that feebay has different systems for different countries and no doubt have different Terms and Costs depending on which system you use.
I have never had any of my automatic relistings appear with a Best Offer. I sometimes unwittingly check the Allow Best Offer box, but that is because the active area for checking the box extends quite a ways beyond the actual box. After entering my price for the listing, I usually click outside the Price box so that it is no longer active, and I don't accidentally change the value. When I do that, I sometimes don't realize I clicked within the active area for checking the Allow Best Offer box.

This is the notification from ebay received for an item that DID NOT allow offers, on an auction listing WITHOUT a Buy It Now option.
"Buyers can now make offers.
eBay
Your chances of selling have just gone up
Hi Ian,
Buyers can now make offers on your listing.
Listings that accept offers from buyers have a higher chance of selling because they provide more opportunities to attract buyers and make a deal. If you haven’t already, be sure to download our app, so you don’t let any offers pass by. Every offer is an opportunity"
I follow a few eBay stamp sellers who start everything at a penny. I notice that all their items have bids. Then I notice if I put in a 30 cent bid, I'm now high bidder. So there are people who have nothing better to do than put in a penny bid on every auction that starts at a penny.
I can only imagine the same folks send in "Best Offers"
Here in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland the brainboxes at Feebay have come up with yet another one of their fantastic brilliant ideas for us poor downtrodden Sellers.
It is:-
The automatic application of "Make Me An Offer" if an item is relisted using their new superduper "If your item does not sell we will relist it 8 times". (The seller has no way to stop this automatic relisting other than to delete the item. It also stops the seller allowing items to finish on a Friday and then relist it on a Sunday, thus changing the finishing time or day.)
Result of this is more work for sellers telling the tightfisted, miserly, mean, arrogant, self indulgent and arrogant people to kindly take their miserly offer and stick it where the sun don't shine!!!!
Of course what will happen is sellers will add a premium to their prices and stop giving combined postage.
AAHH!! Its nice to get it off ones chest!!
