I am unable to find a scott # for this stamp
I'm seeing several different numbers out there, but none seem to be Scott (standard catalog anyway)

re: Azores Telegraph Stamp

Hi,

Telegraph stamps while used for sending written telegraph messages by mail are not considered postage stamps, and are not included in Scott.

Hi,

This is a 1922 telegraph stamp, #4 in the old Hiscocks catalogue.

Smauggie,

Actually, telegraph stamps ARE included in the Scott US Specialized.

I don't know of any WW Scott catalog that includes them, however.

Only US telegraph stamps are in the US Specialized catalog Randall, and this is not a US stamp. Winking

re: Azores Telegraph Stamp

That is absolutely correct, Antonio.

I wasn't insinuating there were any foreign telegraph stamps in the US catalog -

just clarifying that there IS a Scott catalog with telegraph stamps listed in it.

You made no reference to foreign or US in your statement;

"Telegraph stamps while used for sending written telegraph messages by mail are not considered postage stamps, and are not included in Scott."

No harm - no foul!
