stamps mounted with Scotch Tape, oh the horrors!
Great donation!
...and right in the middle of the picture is a nice CDC!
I recently bought a box lot. In it was an album where all the stamps with gum were "licked" down to the page. If the stamp did not have gum, a piece of tape was applied to the top and bottom of the stamp. Horrible, and it went directly to the recycling bin.
Always remember that the Holocaust Stamps Project (Canada) gratefully accepts stamps of all sorts (we are VERY inclusive).
That includes those that are considered "damaged" (even hopelessly so) by collectors. Like the 11 Million lives lost, none should be discarded as being worthless!
Dave.
Don't worry, I have many more to send than those that were in that album.
Thanks Michael. I got your PM too. Just wanted to remind everyone else.
Greatly appreciated, Dave.
Hi all,
I'm not familiar with the HSP.
Can you direct me to more info on the Web?
Thanks!

Thanks Vinnie.
Further info John...
You can also search the SOR Discussions for "csheer" (our member, and founder of the project, Charlotte Sheer) to get the history of her great work here.
Late last year they reached their incredible objective and I have taken on launching Phase 2 of a planned international expansion from Canada. It's early days, and I have lots to do, but with the mentorship of Charlotte and her colleague at the school - Jamie Droste - I am hoping we too will attain the same success and pass the torch to someone in Europe perhaps for Phase 3.
Thanks for asking. Dave.
From Bob Bidner (dell4c).
Hand delivered, no less, to Dave Pangborn (lemaven).
Thanks Bob!
