Scott 3830 or 3830D were issued later, Scott shows issue dates of 2004 and questionable 2005, but says nothing about a change in the inscription on the stamp.

Roy is correct - the booklet versions were issued early in 2004,
but the "2003" date was not changed on the stamp.
#3830 was photogravure
#3830D was lithographed and also had "USPS" micro-printed
on the bird's breast
Both were issued in booklet panes of 20 and both were perf 11½ X 11

If either has microprinting, it's #3830D;
if NO microprinting, it's #3830.

Hi and thanks in advance for any help. My 2017 Scott Specialized does not reference this stamp, accordingly I am at a loss. Both stamps are dated 2003. The only entry in my catalog for 2003 with this design shows a coil stamp. There are entries for booklet ones but they are dated 2004. So...??? ccndd
