How interesting!
I had to see if I could find any references to F.O.K. & Co.
A catalog listing from the Smithsonian (although the actual document does not appear to be viewable online):

And a catalog listed on eBay (no date specified, but there are a couple of interior pics):

Looks like they were wholesalers of household and automotive goods to hardware stores.
At first, I was going to also going to upload the images from the eBay listing directly, because it'll disappear in a few weeks.
I downloaded the images to my computer, with the intention of quickly uploading them to this post, but it turns out they exceed the size restrictions of the board, so I'll have to get back to that at some point in the hopefully not-too-distant future when I can open up Photoshop and perform the transformations.
I figured out how to do it quickly with Irfanview Batch.
I'm wondering if this item is just an order book, and not a catalog.

Definitely an order book! Just found a listing for a 1948 catalog, 4800 pages.

I am starting a thread for anyone who would like to share the clever uses of postal cards by businesses and salesmen to "peddle their wares." They can be from any country, postal card or picture post card, used to promote a product or service. I will start with two that I have in my collection.
Always smile,
Linus
A salesman's postal card from Waterloo, Iowa to Dike Hardware in Dike, Iowa, 1925...
A cake mix coupon gives you 10 cents off in 1949...
