Does anyone else "struggle" with the stamps the Vichy government printed for their colonies but never delivered or put in use. Scott Says they are stamps and yet !
the 2 NDH (Croatia) overprinted Jugoslavija are local (Zagreb issue) overprints, whic were only valid from 25.VI.1945 to 30.VI.1945. Listed in MICHEL (#4 & #5)

The Vichy France colonial issues are also recognized/listed in Yvert & Tellier. Although I do not recall if any actually were validly used.
Yes, I have a large stock book that I use to hold non-Scott listed stamps for which there are no Steiner pages from the other catalogs.
Phil, Scott listed those Vichy colonial issues several years ago.
The two Bolivian stamps are forgeries. See the note in Scott following Bolivia Scott #110.
There are scans of the original Bolivian set and this version on the Witt Collection web site:

Thank you for the information fellows ! Its amazing how we would really need a philatelic library to track some of the little rascals down.
Michael, i could find some but not all of the Vichy colonials in my 2012 Scott catalogs.
My favourite stamp here is the Persian "Gilan Republic" stamp at the top right from 1920.
I thought we had a thread on this issue but I can't find it.
It's every late here so I'm off to bed!
"I could find some but not all of the Vichy colonials in my 2012 Scott catalogs"
The first three "stamps" look as reprints/forgeries of 1936/39 Nationalist Spanish stamps.
The second row stamps seem to be 1941/45 Croatian stamps, overprited after Tito's Jugoslavian occupation, 1945.
The middle stamp on the fourth row is a cinderella from a stamp exhibition, held in Madrid, Spain in May/June 1962. Not to be found in any stamp catalog.
I picked up some long ago put together stockbooks Sunday and foolishly left behind a stock card of Italy with B17/18/19 behind i was trying to load up and get a good discount. Anyhow i was surprised at how many items were not recognized by Scott. It would not be hard to start a collection on plastic stock cards.
