This is the first page I created for Mermaid Legends.

And it's already obsolete!

Mel (mbo1142) not only pointed out that I was missing Thailand 797, but offered to fill the space! That's why I enjoy SOR so much!

So here is page 1, covering the legends of Savannamaccha (southeast Asia), Amabie (Japan) and Iara (Brazil). (All numbers are Scott, but I included the year for those who use different catalogues).

Image Not Found

The Savannamaccha stamps are:
Laos C76 (1971)
Thailand 1436 (1992)
Cambodia 1445 (1995)

Japan Amabie is 3104g (2009)

Iara is Brazil 1336 (1974)

If you are aware of any other stamps relating to these subjects (or mermaids in general), I would love to hear from you.

If you think I am including something as a mermaid that you don't think should be there, or if you think I am missing something, I would love to hear from you!

Hi Lars!

You have inspired me to start my own topical page.

Your page is GREAT.

A question from a Newbie? Where did you get the "Fairy Tale" page to put the stamps on?

Did you design it yourself?

Thanks!

I use formatted blank pages from White Ace since my U.S. collection uses White Ace format. You can create your own design if you wish and you are creative (which I am not). Some pages are on blank 67 lb card stock. I will post one of those soon. 67 lb matches the weight of the White Ace blanks, and I use a 3/8" corner cutter to round off the corners like White Ace.
