Greetings.

I live in the Chicago suburbs and my tap water is treated with who knows what mix of chemicals. For those of you in similar situations, do you soak in tap water or do something else? I have a couple small bags of on paper stamps to go through and also a number with hinge remnants to be removed.

I would hate to do damage by using the tap water.
