Changes have been made to the Stamporama Auction. The changes include some clarification of confusing wording, simplification, corrections, and deletions of redundant and unnecessary rules.
Here are the highlights of the rules changes.
Several rules were deleted that concerned instances where the seller and buyer should communicate with each other. There really is no need to require such communication. It should be a normal part of buying and selling.
The rule requiring sellers to send out an invoice to a buyer no later than 30 days from completion of a buyer's purchases has been deleted. This, too, is a matter between the buyer and seller. It is an action that should occur when the buyer and seller are ready to complete the transaction. Note, however, that the required time frames for payment and shipping remain in effect.
The rules regarding disputes received a major overhaul. All the required steps necessary before one could file a dispute (Section G) have been deleted, replaced with two sentences and moved to Section F as a revised F1. The Sanctions (Section H), are now Section G.
It is hoped that these changes will help make buying and selling a little bit easier.
