Last fall an retired neighbor turned over a box full of stamps to me...mostly used German and USA. Some of the USA stamps probably have a little value but the German stamps are more compelling. Hundreds of DDR (many early), Berlin (some early), West Germany and pre-WWII as well. Probably nothing past 1975...mostly used...I've gone through the German stamps and purchased what I could use...and it was a fun experience! The challenge now if possible is finding a way to sell the hundreds (actually thousands) of the remaining stamps. I'm not in 'the business' and I'm retired. I like working on my stamps but, so far at least, I'm buying on StampoRama, not selling! It would be too much like a job!
So...I'm looking for any suggestions re: someone or some place that might be interested in buying this acummulation of German stamps. They are in hundreds of envelopes and some are mounted in scrapbook pages. I've attached photos of some of the more interesting/older stamps. There are multiples of many of these stamps in the cache. were it me, I might just post one or two auction lots here indicating 1000s of Germany stamps and use some of those illustrations. you'll get bids.
