If it helps the first 4 and last 3 are from China. The square box with the vertical line gives them away, bottom right next to the value box.
The 6th stamp is Japanese occupation of Burma, or possibly Java.
Hi timbres,
Many of these are Chinese postal savings stamps so will not be included in most stamp catalogues.
These include:
- the first two in the first line showing President Lin Sen
- the three at the bottom showing ancient currency.
The stamp in the middle with the fish design is a postal savings stamp from Manchukuo.
The blue stamp with the temple design is a postage stamp from the Japanese occupation of Java.
I think the other two are Chinese postal savings stamps as well but I don't have a reference for these.
Thanks Nigel, those fish were driving me nuts, I was using the Scott visual identifier at the back of catalogue and wondering why the heck they do not use larger Script in the illustrations. Even with a magnifying glass they are hard to distinguish.
I can go and get supper ready now.
I have those stamps to identify: Scott number or other catalog and value (if possible)....
in the 3rd row, the 3 stamps are like Scott Malaya N32, but other denomination
tank you for your help
Jacques
