Anyone else disappointed about the obliterating cancellation being used this month by the USPS? I have received dozens of pieces of mail over the past week or so with totally unsalvageable stamps on them.

We were talking about this on a recent thread, titled "Sloppy Cancel's Now the Norm??" and here is what I wrote:

"Here is the latest "Happy Holidays" cancel from my area that illustrates your point. Not much we can really do about it. It does not make us stamp collectors very happy, for sure."

Santa's sleigh and reindeer look like a UFO flying over a combat zone of explosions, and I was told this one looks better than most.
