Although I have known of the existence of Stamporama for quite a while, I've only joined today, mainly because of the discussion forum which seems to be quite good. I've been collecting stamps since I was a young schoolboy, joined rec.collecting.stamps when it was still new (a pity it has fallen asleep now, like much of Usenet), and am lurking on and occasionally contributing to a few other boards. Maybe I can contribute here, too, and learn something at the same time.
